Back on January 27, 1880, when Mr. Edward B. Hayward surveyed a parcel of land on Foundry Street in Easton, Massachusetts, (Survey #1) we doubt that he had any idea of the future of his new business. Mr. Hayward went on to become a highly respected Land Surveyor and Engineer, Providing expertise in many local and county Atlases, bridge and dam design and even providing the original Master Plan for the town of El Jobean, Florida. Upon the retirement of E.B. Hayward, in 1941, Kenneth C. Hayward conducted the firm until his retirement.
